The first PENMEN publication was a 20 x 30 poster with 1,039 characters doing various activities drawn from the artist’s life experiences growing up in Colorado. The poster was quite popular from the very start and was displayed by fine art distributor Bruce McGaw Graphics, Inc. at the New York Art Expo at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center in 1992.
