PENMEN Studios in Colorado Springs, CO 1992. Before getting a computer PENMEN was marketed with an old school wall map. The Harvard Book Store, Harvard Coop is shown on the map. They sold PENMEN posters with great fan fair. One day they called PENMEN Studios to request T-Shirts. Soon there were PENMEN t-shirts on campus.
Penman, Gary Blehm, wore the beret hanging on the wall for poster signing events and speaking to classrooms about optimism and cartooning.
